Falcon Risk Services (Falcon) has announced the addition of two senior hires to its team. Both positions are newly created roles. Ted Stefas joins as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Gopika Shah joins as Technology Officer.

Ted Stefas most recently served as Chief Underwriting Counsel and Assistant General Counsel at Argo Group. He brings over 20 years of legal experience serving in multiple senior leadership roles and as counsel for Management and Professional Liability insurance groups. He will report to Craig Landi, Chief Executive Officer, and will sit on the executive leadership team to help deliver best-in-class solutions for clients.

Gopika Shah joins Falcon from AIG where she spent 9 years, most recently as Global Head of Reference Data Management and Data Governance. She will now be part of Falcon’s CIO organization as a Technology Officer focusing on strategic development and data architecture in support of our data warehouse, analytics, and predictive modeling capabilities. Gopika has more than 17 years of experience in leading several data management, data architecture, and data visualization responsibilities.
